The Dodge Challenger here at Dodge City of McKinney in McKinney, TX is a powerful, customizable vehicle that has been around since the 1970s. When it came out, there were four different trim levels available: Base, SE, R/T, and SRT-8. The base model offered a V8 engine with a 5-speed manual transmission as well as an automatic transmission with 3 forward gears.

The base model has been discontinued as of 2018. In its place is a new Second-Generation Dodge Challenger that offers a V4 engine with an automatic transmission with 8 forward gears and a manual mode that shifts by itself. This option is more advanced than the old 5-speed manual transmission as now the drive train can be controlled wirelessly from a mobile device.

The Dodge Challenger SE's engine has been upgraded to a V6 and has many customizable options, such as tinted windows, alloy wheels, larger brakes, and better suspension.

The Dodge Challenger R/T has a V8 engine and this generation sports the largest of the three engines. It also has many customizable options, such as larger brakes with carbon fiber rotors, sunroofs, more power windows, and seats with memory foam.
